Easter 2019

Easter 2019 was probably the last time I felt, and was, taller than David and Hannah. We had a lovely Easter together. We were settled at our farm, and the kids were well into their new homeschooling. Thankfully, the timing was right, since Covid hysteria was on the horizon. We were surrounded by the grandparents, Mr. Jerry and the Yeater’s. We had just begun our clearing and fencing process on the land, so much was still overgrown. The dads had great delight in hiding the eggs in precarious places. I think some were as high as a birds nest. The kids had so much fun that Easter. Hannah made delicious cupcakes and looked adorable in her braids with her cowgirl hat. David was all smiles from ear to ear. I pray I see that joy shine from his soul again someday.
