Today is Grandma’s birthday. Over the years we have had swim get togethers, restaurant gatherings and farm birthday celebrations. Often, grandma has shared the day with grandpa for Father’s Day. It never matters how we get together, as long as we do. David and Hannah are aware that gifts are a big deal to grandma. They always shop with me or tell me what to buy in advance. A few times, they’ve wrapped them on their own. They are so happy when grandma really likes the gifts!
After church today, David, Jacob and I will spoil grandma with a delicious lunch out.
