The summer of third grade, David attended a church camp with Ethan for a week. We signed up a little late, so the activities the boys really wanted were full. They ended up with cooking class as their main activity. It’s a good thing that David enjoys being in the kitchen. They were able to still participate in canoeing and swimming, etc…, plus the air conditioning in the kitchen was more pleasant than some of the outside activities. David made the most of it. He made some sweet memories. Although, he didn’t request to return the following year. Hunting camp looked much more enticing.
